Szymon Cieniawski

Szymon Cieniawski is an advocate, a senior associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a member of the financial regulatory team.

Experience and education:

A specialist in banking, payment services law and regulatory matters, he has participated in several due diligence investigations and has also been involved in advising on regulatory matters, including in relation to PSD II, MIFID II and GDPR. He has also advised various institutions on regulatory proceedings before the Polish Financial Supervisory Authority.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in 2016 and completed a course in American law organised by the Jagiellonian University in cooperation with the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in Washington. He qualified as an advocate in 2020.
