Jerzy Bombczyński is an advocate admitted to practice in Poland, counsel in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort, and a member of the banking and finance and restructuring and insolvency teams.
He graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 2012, also studying law at Stockholm University between 2011 and 2012. Jerzy qualified as an advocate in 2016. He joined Rymarz Zdort, formerly known as Weil, Gotshal & Manges – Paweł Rymarz sp.k., in 2012.
A specialist in banking, bankruptcy and restructuring law, Jerzy has extensive experience advising lenders and borrowers in respect of a number of cross-border finance transactions and restructuring projects. He has advised on international offerings of debt securities, offerings of domestic corporate bonds and the introduction of bonds to trading on the Catalyst market. Jerzy also has expertise in AIFMD-related matters and issues concerning the operation and liquidation of investment funds and alternative investment companies.
Jerzy completed the LMA Certificate Course and the LMA Real Estate Finance Certificate Course organised by the Loan Market Association. He also holds an Alternative Trading System Adviser Certificate (Catalyst, NewConnect) issued by the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
He is a member of the firm’s pro bono committee.
