Dr Jakub Rachwol is an attorney-at-law admitted to practice in Poland, a partner in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a co-head of the banking and finance practice.
A specialist in acquisition finance, corporate finance, project finance, and banking and commercial law, he has significant experience acting for borrowers and lenders on domestic and cross-border finance transactions. He has also worked on numerous bond issues as well as factoring and restructuring projects.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow in 2005 and qualified as an attorney-at-law in 2011. Jakub also holds a Ph.D. from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany.
In the prestigious Chambers and Partners Global Guide 2024 ranking, he was recognized in the “Up and Coming” category in banking and finance.
In the ranking published by IFLR1000, he was ranked among highly regarded lawyers (Rising star partner) in banking in 2023.
