Weronika Szyszka is a trainee advocate, an associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort and a member of the competition/antitrust practice.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia in 2018. During the course of her studies, she received a rector’s scholarship awarded to the top students of her faculty. Prior to joining Rymarz Zdort, formerly known as Weil, Gotshal & Manges – Paweł Rymarz sp.k., in 2018, Weronika completed internships in law firms based in Katowice and in a government administrative body.
A specialist in antitrust law, Weronika has experience in competition law matters, including in relation to merger control and state aid issues, as well as Polish consumer law, specifically matters connected with the use of abusive clauses. She has participated in concentration proceedings before the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. She has also been involved in advising on M&A transactions and has participated in a number of due diligence processes. She has advised companies from various industries such as banking, energy generation and distribution, FMCG and telecommunication.
