Szymon Rutecki is an associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a member of the mergers and acquisitions and private equity practices.
A specialist in corporate law, he has advised clients on M&A and private equity transactions, including complex cross-border and multijurisdictional deals, acquisitions involving public companies, going private transactions and joint ventures. Prior to joining the law firm, he worked for a leading international law firm headquartered in London.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in 2022. During his studies, Szymon received the Rector’s Scholarship for top students. He also completed, with the highest score, the Corporate Law Academy organised by the Scientific Association of Capital Markets Law of the University of Warsaw and the Private Equity Academy organised by the Investor’s Club of the Warsaw School of Economics. Szymon is currently working on PhD thesis concerning regulatory issues of conducting business in the gambling sector.
