Karolina Bąkowska is an advocate, a senior associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort, and a member of the real estate team.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow in 2014. Karolina was a member of the Jagiellonian University team in the final of the 2nd Draft Common Frame of Reference Warsaw International Arbitration Moot at the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining Rymarz Zdort, formerly known as Weil, Gotshal & Manges – Paweł Rymarz sp.k., in 2015, she gained experience at Polish and international law firms. She qualified as an advocate in 2018.
A specialist in real estate law, investment and building processes, administrative proceedings and intellectual property law, she has been involved in various real estate sale and purchase transactions, primarily involving shopping centres and office buildings located in Poland. She has participated in many due diligence investigations related to real estate and investment processes. She has also advised both lessors and tenants on lease agreements.
