Karolina Bąkowska is an advocate, a senior associate in the corporate department Rymarz Zdort Maruta, and a member of the real estate team.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in 2014 and completed her postgraduate studies in the field of investment and construction processes at Łazarski University in 2017. Prior to joining Rymarz Zdort, formerly known as Weil, Gotshal & Manges – Paweł Rymarz sp.k., in 2015, she gained experience at Polish and international law firms. She qualified as an advocate in 2018.
A specialist in real estate, civil, commercial and administrative law, she has broad expertise in investment and construction processes and zoning matters. She has advised on dozens of major transactions and investment processes on the market of commercial real properties, in particular warehouses, retail and office real properties, as well as on PRS projects. She is very experienced in negotiating agreements and structuring transactions and has performed and overseen many due diligence reviews involving real properties (including big property portfolios) and investment processes. She has provided legal assistance in the conclusion of lease agreements to both lessors and lessees.
