Kamil Kozłowski is an advocate and a senior associate in the dispute resolution department of Rymarz Zdort.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Administration, and Economics of the University of Wroclaw in 2012. Kamil also studied at Humboldt University in Berlin (2011–2012), where he completed advanced courses in commercial law and unfair competition. Recently, he completed post-graduate studies in international finance co-organised by the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and EY. Kamil has also completed post-graduate studies in investment and construction processes. He joined Rymarz Zdort, formerly known as Weil, Gotshal & Manges – Paweł Rymarz sp.k., in 2012, after having gained experience in other renowned international law firms.
A specialist in dispute resolution, and commercial and corporate law, Kamil has advised clients in various corporate disputes, complex litigations, administrative proceedings, regulatory matters, as well as M&A and PE/VC transactions in which the target was subject to threatened or pending disputes.
He has extensive experience in representing clients in domestic and international arbitration. He advised a leading Polish chemical company in an international arbitration before the Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in connection with a dispute valued at over USD 98 million, as well as represented clients in international arbitration administered by the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC). Kamil frequently represents clients in arbitral proceedings before the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw (KIG).
He has advised on multiple civil law, commercial, and regulatory disputes. His experience in this regard includes post-M&A disputes regarding claims based on representations and warranties, and earn-out clauses, and corporate disputes concerning resolutions of meetings of shareholders and related to the liability of members of the governing bodies of commercial companies. He has advised on regulatory proceedings before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF), the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), and building control offices.
In 2015, Kamil was named one of Poland’s “best young talents” in the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland 30 Under 30 Program, which focused on promoting the “top, brightest, most talented and promising young professionals” in the country.
