Kamil Kłopocki is an associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort and a member of the competition/antitrust practice.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Adam Mickiewicz University in 2016. In July 2016, he started his PhD programme in the Commercial Law Department at the same University. Prior to joining Rymarz Zdort in 2021, formerly known as Weil, Gotshal & Manges – Pawel Rymarz sp.k., he completed internships, among others, at the European Parliament in Brussels and at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beijing and he gained experience in leading Polish law firms in Warsaw. He also worked in public administration, and was an independent expert, cooperating, among others, with members of the Polish Parliament.
A specialist in competition law. He has experience in handling and advising on Polish and European Union competition and consumer protection matters before the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection and the European Commission, including matters concerning merger controls, cartels and abuse of dominance, proceedings concerning practices infringing collective consumer interests and in the field of antitrust compliance for both Polish and foreign entrepreneurs, representing the banking and finance, pharmacy, food, aviation, transport & logistics, and construction sectors.
