Filip Biegun is a licensed tax advisor and an associate in the tax department of Rymarz Zdort.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia in 2016. He is also a Ph.D. tax law student at the Jagiellonian University since 2017, where he works on his doctoral dissertation regarding the concept of VAT abuse.
Filip became a tax advisor in 2018. Prior to joining Rymarz Zdort, formerly known as Weil, Gotshal & Manges – Pawel Rymarz sp.k., in 2021, he gained experience in one of the Big4 accounting firms.
A specialist in tax law, with a particular focus on issues related to the tax aspects of M&A transactions, Filip has been involved in numerous tax due diligence and tax structuring projects, as well as in tax advisory on asset-by-asset deals and intragroup reorganizations. He has been also supporting the clients through providing ongoing tax advisory services and participation in tax proceedings.
Filip is also an author of a number of publications regarding tax issues in Polish periodicals.
