Antonina Falandysz-Zięcik is an attorney-at-law admitted to practice in Poland, senior associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort and a member of the competition/antitrust practice.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 2010 and qualified as an attorney-at-law in 2014. Prior to joining Rymarz Zdort in 2020, Antonina spent over six years working in an antitrust boutique Modzelewska&Paśnik, and most recently as corporate counsel at Wydawnictwa Szkolne i Pedagogiczne S.A.
Antonina specialises in a wide range of antitrust law matters, including matters concerning abuses of dominance, cartels, distribution and commercial agreements, as well as merger controls. She has worked on antitrust and regulatory proceedings that have led to landmark judgments of the Supreme Court. She was engaged in a case before the European Commission relating to competition-restricting practices that was brought to the General Court of the EU and then to the Court of Justice of the EU.
Her experience includes participation in proceedings relating to infringements of collective consumer interests within, inter alia, the telecoms, automotive and publishing sectors, with a particular focus on the abuse clauses included in general terms and conditions of consumer agreements, unfair advertising and misleading practices.
She has worked with many market leaders from various industries, such as pharmaceutical, FMCG, publishing, chemical and telecoms.
